Telephony for sales teams

A cloud PBX for sales is telephony wired into the CRM: the call lands in the deal by itself, a missed enquiry does not vanish, and the manager sees how the team works without asking anyone. sipbox runs on your own carrier’s SIP trunk — minutes stay at their rate, we charge for seats only.

What usually breaks in phone sales

Leads get lost among missed calls

Someone called at lunchtime, nobody picked up, and the call dissolved into the general history. A day later no one remembers it — and the caller is already talking to a competitor.

Nobody can tell who sells well

The manager learns about call quality from the reps themselves. There is no way to replay a real conversation and see where the deal fell apart.

Reps call from personal mobiles

The conversation reaches neither the CRM nor the recordings, and when someone leaves, the customer base walks out with their phone number.

How sipbox handles it

Telephony stops being a separate system you have to open: it lives inside the screen the rep already works in.

The customer card before the handset is lifted

An incoming call pops the Bitrix24 card with history and open deals. The rep greets the caller by name and does not ask what the last conversation was about.

The call goes to the owner, not to a pile

If a customer is assigned to a rep, the call goes to them. No answer — it continues along the flow, and the failed attempt is flagged on the deal.

A dedicated “Missed calls” view

Failed attempts collect in a list with a “called back / not yet” status and are emailed to the owner. At the end of the day the manager reads a list rather than guessing.

Supervisor and recordings

A live view of the line: who is talking, who is free. From the manager’s handset — listen silently, coach so only the rep hears you, or join the conversation.

What the team gets

Questions about telephony for sales

Do we have to change carriers?

No. sipbox runs on top of your current carrier’s SIP trunk: the numbers and the contract stay with you, and so does their per-minute rate. If you have no trunk yet, we point you in the right direction, but we do not sell one and earn nothing on that choice.

What reaches the CRM automatically?

Bitrix24 works today: the customer card on an incoming call, the call and its recording in the deal timeline, a separate flag for a failed attempt, routing by deal owner. Connectors for amoCRM, RetailCRM and 1C are in development — we will not call them working.

How many lines do we need so callers never hear a busy tone?

The cap comes from your trunk, not from sipbox: as many channels as the carrier allocated, that many calls go through. A practical rule for inbound traffic is roughly one line per three reps; for heavy outbound calling, closer to one each.

Our reps work from home — is that a problem?

No. Calls run in the browser, so nothing is needed on the desk. Someone in another city connects to the same PBX, joins the same queues and appears in the same reports.

What happens to the recordings if we leave?

Recordings export to your own storage — a standard feature, not a favour granted at the exit. The numbers were always yours: they sit on the carrier contract, not on us.
